FOUNDER AUGUSTO
The story of AJN was born from a personal journey of pain founded by Brazilian born, designer Augusto Ju Nior. Currently based in Paris.
Rooted in memory, displacement and transformation, the house explores the tension between opposing worlds hard and soft, vulnerability and protection, pain and beauty.
This duality is expressed through sculptural silhouettes and unexpected materials, where PVC, crystal and metal meet soft textiles and the body.
Each collection begins with a personal story but is transformed into something universal: an exploration of identity, belonging and the beauty that can emerge from adversity.
Naming the brand Augusto Ju Nior (AJN) is a tribute to his father and heritage, symbolizing strength and resilience. Starting this brand wasn’t just a creative outlet it was a way to tell his own story and inspire others to do the same.
